Hiya! 👋🏻 It’s Shelly, the gal behind the camera. I’ve introduced myself over on my social media platforms but the blog is new one! I’m going to be completely honest, I was against blogs for the longest time – which is why now, 3 years into officially being in business, I’m starting one. I realized I have so much helpful information I want to share with you, and I wanted a place I could brag about my amazing clients – and show off the magic we create together!
I made some big life changes earlier this year and I moved my home base to Phoenix, AZ🏜. A gal couldn’t handle the snow❄ and cold of Colorado anymore! BUT I’m still in Colorado frequently for sessions while exploring Arizona and capturing memories for families in the desert. I also have a pretty intense wanderlust so it wouldn’t be hard to convince me to travel just about anywhere for some photos!
While I’ve been settling into desert living, encountering new bugs (p.s. your girl doesn’t do bugs), and slightly melting in this heat I’ve been reminded about why I picked up a camera. I love creating and being able to slow down time, even if just for a moment. I love being able to give images to parents of their little ones who are growing way too fast right before their eyes or of grandparents who will be gone too soon, and everything in between. I believe life should be captured right now, as is, in every season of life. There is beauty in the chaos.
